Abstract: Over the last decade, the issue of internet medication has plagued pharmacies and the broader healthcare community. Alternative choices for persons seeking medicine, with or without a prescription, are available on the Internet, and numerous experts have outlined the dangers and advantages. Peer-reviewed books and relevant remarks are examined in this review article to represent the advent of online pharmacy. While counterfeit medicine and the increased usage of internet drug information are strongly related to this issue, these articles are outside the subject of this work. Different opinions concerning customer motivation and knowledge while buying drugs online are revealed in this discussion. Misconceptions concerning online prescriptions are surfacing, such as the purchase of over-the-counter drugs and the lack of product information. Even at the start of the chaotic pre-regulation era, there is a strong thread defining excellent practice inside an online pharmacy.
