Abstract: The food habits of the people have changed these days but those who have their roots in the villages, still relish the traditional recipes prepared from seasonal plant materials. These recipes are loosing its sheen in the fast food culture. So there is a need to conserve our traditional food habits and recipes. The plant material used for preparing these recipes is seasonal and completely organic. It is both nutritious and safe to eat thus healthy.
