dc.description.abstractElliptic curve public key cryptosystems have evolved in the recent past as an important alternative to established systems like RSA. They offer more security than a RSA key at a much lesser key size and thus they are a better option. This project shows an implementation of ECC and the subsequent encryption and decryption of a text message.en_US
