dc.description.abstract | This project presents the design and implementation of an IOT based Garbage Monitoring System for Smart cities using the Ultrasonic Sensor and Arduino UNO as the MCU (Master Control Unit). The system will continuously monitor garbage levels in public dustbins and thus provide an efficient way for waste management to the municipal bodies. The model is connected to the internet using an ESP8266 WiFi module, which allows communication between the Arduino and another internet supporting device.
