Natural language processing (NLP) is field of computer science, artificial intelligence, and linguistics concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages. Natural language generation systems convert information from computer databases into readable human language. Word sense disambiguation (WSD) is still an open research area in natural language processing and computational linguistics. It is from both theoretical and practical point of view. WSD is considered an AIcomplete problem, that is, a task whose solution is at least as hard as the most difficult problems in artificial intelligence. Here, the problem is to find the sense for word in given a context. It is a technique of natural language processing (NLP), which requires queries and documents in NLP or texts from Machine Translation (MT). A method of word sense disambiguation that employs measures of gloss overlaps using English Wordnet for all works task is formulated. This system will assign a sense to every content word in a text that is found in the English Wordnet.en_US
