With its dynamic resource pools, virtualization and high availability, cloud is a next generation technology that is here to stay. Because cloud computing is an internet based technology, security issues like privacy, data security, confidentiality and authentication are prone to get encountered. In order to get rid of the same, a variety of encryptiondecryption algorithms and authentication mechanisms are used in different combinations and tested on the basis of encryption & Decryption time and throughput. On the similar terms, we chose to make use of combination of authentication technique and key exchange algorithm blended with an encryption algorithm. This combination is referred to as “Three way mechanism” because it ensures all the three protection schemes of authentication, data security and verification at the same time.en_US
