Abstract: | Hardware Optimization The main aim of our project is to optimize the hardware of ECG circuit by reducing the number of components in the circuitry of ECG to make the system less expensive. The components we have used in our optimized proposed ECG circuit are Instrumentation Amplifier, RLD circuit to reduce the common mode interference, reduced DC offset remover circuit, Notch filter to reduce RF interference, power line interference and muscle noise. We have used a bio-potential amplifier in such a manner that it reduces noise, RF interference; DC offset value, and common voltage from the existing circuit. In this project, we have shown how we can burn FPGA with the help of serial port communication. Software Optimization We have collected different ECG images from-http://www.beecardia.com/physiobank/database/ptbdb/s0530_re-patient278 upon which we have applied data preprocessing, feature extraction, data partitioning and data classification using SVM classifier. In this project we have use Haar wavelet as feature extraction technique and calculated several terminologies like overall accuracy, precision, misclassification rate etc which yields maximum accuracy of 95% if we consider all features (mean, standard deviation and energy) in one. |
