| Abstract: | The project is to design of RCC structures like beam, slab using macros in ms-excel. Design done in excel using macros is user friendly that’s the reason designing firms uses it frequently. Design of beam is being completed with cost comparison of different grades of concrete and steel and finding out the optimum cost for different d/B(effective depth/breadth) ratios. To make it efficient and simpler the inputs are provide within a specified range. All the provisions from Indian standard codes like IS456:2000 were taken into consideration while designing. |
