Abstract: Chitosan nanoparticles are frequently utilized in the pharmaceutical industry as a medication delivery system or as an antibacterial agent. This work used the ionotropic gelation process with acetic acid to create chitosan nanoparticles that were loaded with curcumin and quercetin. Utilizing sodium tripolyphosphate as a chelator, polymeric nanoparticles were synthesized using chitosan. For in vitro drug delivery testing, the nanoparticles were coated with hydrophobic curcumin and quercetin in a nanocarrier.
